While our hides are premium full grain leather, no two hides are identical. Leather is a natural product, and each hide has an individualized character to it. Hides can contain natural markings such as: light scratches, bug bites, and hump holes (a narrow slit along the spine) or even a brand. Typically, these markings are very subtle, or hard to see at all, and considered by some as evidence of genuine leather.

• You can expect the average size of a full hide to be between 45 and 55 square feet.
